St. Peter’s is proud to be part of Project (Re)Start for the Diocese of Northern California.

For our current project, we have been asked to fill the next 10 boxes with bedroom supplies. Think creatively about how you can team up - with local businesses, service clubs, friend groups, family. There is no guesswork in this one: sheets, blankets and pillows. to sign up click here.

So far, we have prepared 10 bins for families with infants (“Infant Bins”) and sent them to families in need. This fire season (2022), six were sent to assist survivors of the McKinley fire near Yreka. We’re getting ready to prep 6 more to replace those sent.

Project (Re)Start is designed to do the following:

  • Inspire congregations to join forces in the ministry
  • Prepare for disaster response
  • Respond to disasters in a meaningful way, with clearly identified needs
  • Establish a ready reserve of supplies without draining local communities during a disaster
  • Help those in need across the diocese

For more information, please check out the diocesan website
